Can anyone tell me the output impedance of the EZDAC? If/when I build the EZDAC, I plan to use it with a passive preamp. The DAC output will see a constant 10kohm load. Will it be able to drive that load OK?
Thanks! Ted

The short answer is I don't know the output impedance, haven't measured it. However, I have used the DAC straight into my Parasound Halo A23, which has an input impedance of 30k, and had no problems. I don't think you will have a problem.

as the output is straight from an opamp it will be fairly low, some tens of ohms probably - no problem to drive 10k!

Tens of ohms is correct. I have been thinking about adding a 100 ohm resistor in series with the output as a protection safeguard to the output in case of a short circuit at the output. Insignificant relevant to the input of any preamp. 100 to 500:1.
