Position: Sr. Java Developer

Location: Collegeville, PA

Job Type: Contractual / Temporary

Duration: 12+ months

 

Required Technical Skill Set:

1.        Java 1.5/Java 1.7
2.        EJB2.x, EJB3.x

3.        IBM WAS 8.5

4.        Spring framework

5.        JMS

 

Must-Have:

- Excellent experience on Java 1.5/Java 1.7
- Excellent work experience on complex         EJB3.x
- Experience in JAX-WS services
- Experience in JMS

 

Good-to-Have:

Knowledge in

- Integrate Nexaweb with WAS 8.5

- Instrument JCA Adapter

 

Expectations from the Role

1: Responsible for designing end-to-end system architecture

2: Develop design specifications, installation instructions and other system-related information.

3: Assist & work with customer and development team in understanding and implementing NFR

4: Develop reusable components and services

5: Identify, review and present input on project activities and plans

6: Periodic project review

7: Highlighting gaps/risks if any with the right stakeholders

8: Application development in Websphere

9: Review of design documentation, application code

10: Review unit test cases and test results
