Training for EYP Trainers (18.-25.7.)

Do you want to go further in EYP? Would you like to learn the very latest in group psychology, chairing and training? Are you interested in training others what you already have learned in EYP? Are you one of the 24 people about to make a difference in EYP by becoming the backbone of EYP’s new pool of trainers?

 

WE INVITE YOU TO APPLY TO TRAINING FOR EYP TRAINERS (18th – 25th July)

Training for EYP Trainers (T4ET) invites experienced active EYPers to Finland for a week to kick-start EYP’s new pool of trainers. During the week you will learn how to competently and confidently plan, run and evaluate a training course in EYP. The course is organised by GB, EYP Academy and EYP Finland.

 

WHAT WILL I LEARN?

• Gain profound understanding on how group works
• Learn advanced group leading techniques (chairing/facilitation)
• Practise strategic use of teambuilding exercises
• Explore how to enable personal growth in your team- Creatively approach new and existing methods
• Practise your leadership, training and chairing competences through self-reflection and feedback from experienced co-participants and trainers

WHO IS THE COURSE FOR?

• Experienced EYPer (chairing, editing, journoing, organising, NC matters…)
• Interested in training
• Committed to attend the full duration of the course, and pass on your experience in EYP through trainings

WHAT IS POOL OF TRAINERS?

BNC and GB have a strategic priority of transforming EYP into training based organisation where training courses are normal part of EYP activities. In the future trainings are organised on multitude of areas: chairing, journoing, organising, fundraising, EU academic topics, etc… For this to happen, the GB is proposing setting up EYP Pool of trainers, as well as requiring that in the future IS boards and president have training experience.

 

PRACTICAL DETAILS

• Arrival on Sunday 18th of July, departure Sunday 25th of July
• Participation fee 50 EUR
• We cover up to 75% of your travel costs
