Hello, all.
I'm Hyongsop Kim in Korea and android accessibility tester with TalkBack.
In TalkBack, all view's default action to run is doubletap, not single tap.
But like Phone app in Pixel device, some view can be activated with just single tap even if I turned on TalkBack.
I think overriding Talkback gesture method is applied.
I really wanted to know and learn, I tried this simulation with android studio, but I didn't find any clue yet.
In stack overflow, I found one resource, but I can't understand how to implement it.
So could you help me to create sample app that just one button to activate with single tap with TalkBack?
If you share the project source, I will study and learn.
The reason is I have to advice this issue to some IT related company developer to improve accessibility issue.
Or course most button or view should be activated via doubletap, but some specific button need to be activated through single tap.
Thank you so much for your help in advance.

I'm sorry to see you have not received any response to your message

I cannot say that I completely understand your question

I wanted to let you know that TalkBack users can configure TalkBack for double or single tap activation this is done using a setting in the TalkBack settings menu and single tap is considered experimental

Hello, thank you for your reply.
I know that TalkBack settings has a single tap function.
But what I mean is to override TalkBack gesture by developing.
As you know, in google phone app, all keypad is activated via single tap.
TalkBack setting is not changed, in other words, all views can be activated via double tap.
But in dialpad, you can activate via single tap any number.
also in gobard, all characters is typed just single tap.
So I wnat to know how to develop this.

Thank you again for your reply and if you need more information to help me, please let me know.
