Hi,

I have a 4GB Connect X2 Eye-fi card that seems to be stuck in 0x4003 transfer mode.
Here are the details:

[00:00] Eye-Fi firmware 5.2010 Aug 27 2013 18:12:44 started (2), hardware revision 1, CID "DD2G4M:30:09", 3886/32 MB, 00-18-56-XX-XX-XX, 0x01
[00:01] Marvell 8786 firmware version 12.57.6.p54 running, xtal offset 1/1.
[00:01] Card is in online and desktop (0x4003) transfer mode (timestamp 1382276248), geo-tagging is disabled, hotspots are disabled.

SInce the Eye-fi servers are not working any more, is there any way to bring this card
out of this mode and get it to transfer just to a local server? This will enable me to use
the standalone servers that are available on Linux.

Thanks a bunch,

I figured that this is a card that is stuck in Direct mode. It will create an AP only if
there are no other configured networks that are nearby. Once it creates
an AP, any client can connect to retrieve images. I realized I don't want to bring it
out of this mode any more because it helps me when I am away from my home
network.
