Can anyone recommend a photo viewer for linux that when open will
automatially load the new photo and show it on the screen until
another is uploaded.

It kinda depends on where you're sending the photos. I use on called
'feh' that comes in many Linux distros that can reload a URL every few
seconds. It'd be pretty quick to hack together some scripts to do what
you're asking for.

I am using Dave's python server.  That all works great.  Pics are uploaded to the same directory every time.

I hadn't thought about inserting them into a web page and then reloading.  If nobody else has a program with the option I will give that a try.

Thanks for the input.

iirc bibble5 can do something like that. Not sure if thats an option
for you. Though i use bibble i never used that feature, so i can't say
how to mak it work, you might have to consult the bibble handbook.

Besides that inotify might be helpful to do some scripting.
