Multifocal lens cataract surgery

I am 50 years old, have a history of Iritis and Gloucoma. I have had
Gloucoma for about two years. My cataract in one eye are due for
surgery.

I have tried using bifocal glasses in the past, but it gave me lot of
headaches so i could not use them. I was told that this was due to my
weak eye muscles.

Would my getting headaches with bifocal glasses and/or weak eye
muscles make me a bad candidate (or preclude me) for multifocal lens,
when I gets cataract surgery?
