Hi All,

we have a Haag Striet  BQ900 slit lamp with slight double vision.

this was cause by the binoculars being dropped while fitting a teaching arm.

have any members had experience of recalibrating these?

repair by Haag is very expensive and also takes a very  long time.

many thanks

Darren

Dear Darren: I can do it and I have done it while was serving Aravind Eye Hospital. I am now retired and settled in Mumbai (Bombay). If on examination you do not notice any glass (lens or prism) broken you may send it to me and I will send it back duly fixed. The cost involved will be the cost of packing and courier charges. thank you for your kind offer!

I worked on it a little and by trial and error I have managed to repair (I think) at the moment the doctor is confirming.

If not I may be in touch

many thanks

Darren
