Considering that the act of carrying a (legal) gun is grounds for summary execution on open street it seems that the us gun amendment is on the way out.
Traditionally this should cause a mass shopping of guns and ammunition.
But now I see nothing much from the NRA and the usual price hike on ammunition is also lacking.
Is the 2:amendment optional if there is republicans in charge?

Even the NRA is against Trump on this, they didn't like the ICE statement that the murder of a protester was justified because he carried a legal handgun even though he made no attempt to use it.

Nobody was very surprised when Trump violated the First Amendment (suing newspapers for liable if they say unflattering things about him, withholding federal funding from universities if a large proportion of the students have unfavorable views of the president, threatening to cancel the broadcast license of TV stations that air late night talk shows if they tell jokes about Trump.)

Nobody was very surprised when Trump violated the Fourth Amendment (conducting a traffic stops based on the color of a driver's skin, using police batons, pepper spray, and even legal firearms against peaceful protesters)

Nobody was very surprised when Trump violated the Fifth Amendment (summarily deporting individuals without hearing and removeing independent officials, such as Federal Reserve Governor)

Nobody was very surprised when Trump insisted that people should believe him when he said the Fourteenth Amendment does not say that anybody born in the US is automatically a US citizen, and they should NOT believe the evidence of their eyes which very clearly says exactly that.

However people were surprised when Trump violated the Tenth Amendment because it's about states rights and the MAGA cult is very big about that, and yet Trump commandeered state resources in Minnesota and deployed federal agents into Minneapolis against the will of Minnesota's governor and Minneapolis's mayor.

But people were more than surprised, they were  ASTONISHED when Trump even went after the Second Amendment. I wonder if that will be enough to snap the MAGA zombies out of their trance. For some probably, but for the majority probably not. I hope I'm wrong.
