July 14-18 @ the Katherine Thomas School; 3:30-7:30 pm
The Girl Scout Council of the Nation’s Capital (GSCNC) is pleased to invite your daughter to the 3rd annual Camp Starfish. Camp Starfish is an evening camp that’s perfect for girls of ALL abilities who have occupied day-time schedules but still want to have fun at summer camp. At camp, girls will enjoy: Beach-themed arts & crafts and games; “Water Day” and other outdoor activities; and, a closing “Passion Show” for girls to display their biggest passions! Camp Starfish is a community outreach camp designed as an introductory program for girls who are not currently Girl Scouts. The fee for camp is $25, which includes a t-shirt, daily snack and other camp materials. Campers should bring a healthy dinner and water bottle to camp each day. Dinner will be provided on the last day of camp. Transportation will be provided to and from multiple locations in Montgomery County (please see registration website for more details).
*Please note – If you have an older daughter who is interested in serving as a volunteer to earn community service hours, we’d LOVE to have her. Inquiries about this, and any other questions about camp may be directed to Andraéa LaVant at ala...@gscnc.org or 202-534-3791.
