Extreme Recess Sailing with Maryland CRAB

Saturday, August 9th from 1 - 3 pm

Dreams for Kids DC (DFKDC) and Chesapeake Regional Accessible Boating (CRAB) are teaming up to give children with physical and developmental disabilities the opportunity to go sailing, many for the first time!  We can't wait to have our children help man the sailboats as they prepare for a beautiful view of the Marina. It is our first time holding this event since 2011, space is limited so register asap: https://dfkdcsailingcrab.eventbrite.com

Extreme Recess Basketball with DCJCC & Basketball star Sean Mosley

WORLD T.E.A.M. Sports

July 19th, 2014

World T.E.A.M. Sports’ inclusive Adventure Team Challenge Washington, D.C. returns Saturday, July 19. Held at the scenic Chesapeake & Ohio Canal National Historical Park along the Potomac River in Washington, D.C. and suburban Maryland, the Challenge provides children and teens with disabilities the opportunity to hike, mountain bike, and canoe in a supportive team event. Participants, ages 13-20, are teamed with volunteer athletes who provide support and assistance during the single day event’s three stages.
