In the spring of 2012 we will be hosting Extreme Weekend for Children with Diabetes April 20-22, 2012 (ages 8-18 boys & girls) at NorthBay Adventure Camp also we might do another day program in the spring.  Looking into the fall of 2012 we will be hosting DESTINY's Family weekend retreat for families that have children with Diabetes.  We are also working closely with College Diabetes  Network (CDN) to put together an Extreme Weekend for Young Adults with Diabetes which is a much needed program for college aged individuals.

Hopefully in October wel will be hosting a fundraiser for DESTINY at Sully's Comedy Club in Baltimore, MD. we will be sending out an email in September with more details so please spread the word if you are in the MD/DC area and help us raise money for our programs.  If you have an idea for a fundraiser please contact me and we will discuss your idea and hopefully make it happen.  Keep in mind 3rd party fundraisers are very easy to put together; go to your favorite restaurant and see if you can set up a night to do a fundraiser, most restaurant's will donate 10 to 20% of all money from that day.  Every dollar helps us do more programs for children/families and young adults with Diabetes so help us help YOU!
Hope to see you all November 5!
Have a wonderful day!
Ron
