Problems with pattern-language_in v0.9.2

I’m finding that pattern language doesn’t work in v9.2 ..... nor in 0.9.1

For example in examples/sharedsystem/pattern_basics.xtm 

Running (:> A 4 0 (play syn1 @1 80 dur) (list 60 63 67 72))

 I get 

“Unbound variable A in (:> A 4 0 (play syn1 @1 80 during) (list 60 63 67 72))”

I got similar errors in other examples too.
