Subject: Please share: consultant for evaluation of GCE Global Action Week
To: Shaharazad Abuel-Ealeh <
she...@campaignforeducation.org>
Dear all,
As part of the process of evaluating the progress on Education For All
goals since 2000 - and particularly the contribution of civil society - and
as part of GCE's next strategic planning process, we are looking to
commission an evaluation of GCE's Global Action Week. As an annual event
that mobilises millions of people in around 100 countries in support of the
right to education, it should provide a fascinating subject for a
consultant focused on public campaigning and its impact on policy processes.
We are looking to have this completed over a period of a couple of months,
at latest by mid-January next year; if you have contacts or networks who
you think may be interested, please do share the attached outline, and
encourage them to get in touch with us if they have any further questions.
And of course, many of you will find yourselves being contacted as part of
the evaluation; we're looking forward to hearing your views and using this
as part of an ongoing conversation about GCE's approach.
Thanks so much and all the best,
Caroline
