Hi Everyone,

I have a quick question. I am just updating a website that is using a
theme that I created using Front Page and am trying to figure out why
one page doesn't seem to be the same as the rest. I need to have this
page conform to the theme but am just starting to use Expression Web
and a can't find where the themes would be located. Can someone give
me a hint please?

The help search comes up empty for the word Theme and so does a search
of this group. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Themes were depreciated in FP 2003 and only there for backwards
compatibility. There is no support for themes in Expression Web. You will
need FP to edit it if you want to keep using the theme.

Thanks very much, Cheryl, Luckily I still have FP 2003 installed.
Lesson learned...There is still a LOT I don't know about Expresson
Web.

FWIW, once you get the hang of using CSS it is far more flexible and much,
much lighter weight than FP themes. Plus you can use them in any editor even
notepad in a pinch.

I've been using CSS since 2000 for page formatting and switched to pure css
layouts in 2002. On most of the sites I've converted the page weight has
decreased by at least 45%. On themes & table based layout usually 60% or
more unless the site is really picture heavy.
