Express Routes Not "Fully" Dynamic with Variable

Folks,

I've tried and granted, failed, to use express routes that use the entire route as a variable to "extend" base RESTful operations that are shared by all services I'm building. StackOverflow failed to give any recommendations, can someone please provide some insight on how this is accomplished?
