Dear Parvez,

I have some problems in the frontend with "ad article and showing the data of the user" who logged in.
I did get the following message: Fatal error: Call to a member function displayHead() on a non-object in /home/deb25266/domains/durksweb.nl/public_html/templates/expose/index.php on line 30

When i disable the  Expose System Plugin for Joomla 2.5 i don't get de message above.
Is this how it should be working?

I am using EXPOSE_TEMPLATE_VERSION 2.0 and EXPOSE_FRAMEWORK_VERSION 4.0.
When is disable the plugin then the template setting looks very bad and is not working properly anymore.

Any idea how i can fix this?

Greetings,
Durk

Dear Parvez,

It did not have the effect we suspected.
I updated with the latest framework.
Templateversion is: 2.0, Expose framework is now: 4.1.1.

With the Expose System Plugin enabled i still get in the frontend the message: Fatal error: Call to a member function displayHead() on a non-object in /home/deb25266/domains/durksweb.nl/public_html/templates/expose/index.php on line 30
Also the template setting looks still very bad (screenshot) and is not working properly anymore.

Durk

I guess you are using Joomla 3.1.5 so update expose to 4.1.2 first. Regarding plugin which component page it giving the error?

Dear Parvez,

In regarding to your question about wich component gives the error:
If ia disable the plugin i see that the template setting are not normal. See screenshot.
And in the frontend i can ad an article and user profile is showing. Although the button Save does not work then.

If i enable the plugin i can't use "ad article" and "user profile" because it gives the following message: Fatal error: Call to a member function displayHead() on a non-object in home/deb25266/domains/durksweb.nl/public_html/templates/expose/index.php on line 30.

It works, but now the Save button does not work when i want to make an article in the frontend.
The template setting are still not normal. Looks like that the xml is not working properly.

Chrome and also FF, IE10. In all the browsers the Save button does not work.
I fixed the look of the templatesettings by replacing the file templateDetails.xml with a new one and now the settings look normal.

I already fixed this too. I made a form override (edit.php) and put it in templates/expose/html/com_content/form. I stripped the edit.php from some parts but that was one to many. I stripped this code from the edit.php:
<?php endif; ?>
<div class="formelm">
<?php echo $this->form->getLabel('access'); ?>
<?php echo $this->form->getInput('access'); ?>
</div>
but Joomla needs this code to verify the article. So i put it back and now the SAVE-button works again and the article appears in the backend.

Al problems solved.

Thnaks for the support.

Greeting,
Durk
