Hello

I must say I really love Expose Framework and I think it is the best framework ever made for Joomla!, in terms of options and functionality. It is easy to use, lightweight, fast, and has many options to get you going with whatever you want to do with your template. However, it keeps disappointing me when it comes to how it handles jquery.

I have a development/test website where I've installed only Joomla! and the frameworks. To this, I added Seblod cck, which is my cck of choice. And from there Expose can't cope. Gantry, T3 and others have no problem, but Expose does. With the sizes of some of the websites I do, I do not want to be hacking code and keeping track of altered files. My forms don't submit and other functions of the cck also fail with Expose. Only with Expose. They've said before it is a jquery clash. I know. But why always Expose and not Gantry or T3 or the others?

It also seems that everytime there is a new Joomla! version, one has to wait for weeks before Expose catches up. I keep downloading latest Expose version, but it hasn't changed since November 28 2013, according to the download page. Yet we've seen 3 Joomla releases since then, 3.2.1, 3.2.2 and now 3.2.3. The other competing frameworks have since released a few updates in line with the new Joomla! releases. Which begs the question: Should I just abandon Expose for one of the others? As much as I don't really want to, I have to think about my websites and projects.

For me this is very disappointing. But besides all that, I think the developers came up with a brilliant framework and I thank them for making it available to us.

Hello Edwin,
I understand your concern and I'm sorry for your experience with Expose and Sebold cck. I admire we didn't checked this cck compatibility issue and i'll check it asap. We are a small team and growing. This year we moved to our new office and hired some people.

Now we are setting our goal for next expose version and its agile development strategy. I hope soon we'll be able to post about our goal for next version of Expose.

Regrading Joomla compatibility, yes pushed update a week later and I don't want to do this again. Our latest commit on the framework on 5th February not 28th Nov.

I really appreciate your concern and we are working hard to push it into new level :)
