Tanker Semi Trailers are mostly used for the transportation of Fuel, LPG, LNG and chemicals. In order to carry the mentioned goods the tanker needs to be manufactured according to ADR certificate. The body can be aluminium or steel. Mostly aluminium is prefered in this type because by this way the empty weight of the semi trailer will decrease therefore the maximum payload (load capacity) will increase.

Regarding the ADR, all metarials in the tanker should be according to the regulations. The api-couplings, manhole, aluminium or steel plate, brakes, axles, kingpin, electrical system (exproof). The proper tanker code should LGBF and Class 3 according to the ADR rules.

The number of the compartments can range from 1 to 7 according to the choice. These compartments are divided the buffles and the entrance into the compartment is from the top with the help of the manhole.
