The website (www.isem2012.tw) of the Joint International Conference of The
2nd International Symposium on Experimental Mechanics, The 11th Asian
Conference on Experimental Mechanics, 2012 Society for Experimental
Mechanics Fall Conference and 7th International Symposium on Advanced
Science and Technology in Experimental Mechanics to be held in Taiwan is
ready. Please encourage your colleagues to submit papers to the Conference.
In addition, please also note that the IUTAM Symposium on Advances of
Optical Methods in Experimental Mechanics will be held from Nov. 3-6, 2012.
Similar IUTAM Symposia were only held in Europe before. The General Assembly
of IUTAM approved my proposal to host 2012 IUTAM Symposium on Advances of
Optical Methods in Experimental Mechanics in Taiwan. This is the first time
Asia has the opportunity to host this Symposium. I hope you and your
colleagues could attend both the Symposium and Conference. The website for
the Symposium will be ready soon.
