Title: Sr. Java developer 

Location: Portland, OR

Duration: Long Term 

 

Java Engineers

•         Deep understanding of Java 8 and J2EE technologies
  
•         Working experience in design and development
  
•        Solid working experience in Spring Framework (Boot, MVC, Integration, Cloud, etc.)
  
•        Hands-on experience with Micro Services / Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) required. Able to implement new RESTful services and consume existing web services.
  
•        Proven working experience with Unit test and test-driven development (Junit, Mockito, etc.)
  
•        Experience with AWS like EC2, SNS, SQS, S3, LAMBDA, Amazon Cloud Watch, Amazon Simple DB, etc.
  
•        Experience in application development and deployment tools such as: GitHub; Eclipse; Gradle; Maven; Jenkins, etc.
  
•        Experience with TDD (Test Driven Design)
  
•        Experience working in a CI (Continuous Integration) and CD (Continuous Delivery) environment
  
•        Strong communication and leadership skills
  
•         Ability to proactively collaborate with POs/Leads and drive defect and issue resolutions
  
•        Demonstrates strong analytical problem-solving skills to support scalable and sustainable design solutions.
  

Additional skillsets that are desired:

·         Experience with a Flex PLM (v11)

·         Experience with designing and developing Java React UI

·         Understanding of ETL (Extract, Translate, Load) methodologies

·         Knowledge of Retail apparel and footwear industry

·         Experience with a SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework)

·         Experience with VersionOne

·         Experience with Confluence

·         Experience with Splunk
