Hello to all ! Welcome to summer 2014 !  I got started early this year and went to the Oregon coast. It was a 9 hour drive to the beach, but worth it.

The Oregon coast is beautiful. Then, we went to a town in Idaho called McCall, to the Payette Lake. It was a gem.......swimming, and sunshine.

I have a new phone for the first time in 7 years, so if anyone gets a hankering to call, please do......208-297-9509. Preliminary Shasta trip is around mid-August, but it is not set in stone. Mark, would be a good time to meet over there to try and find the " Three Trees" entrance, which is very close to the tunnel MT and I found near Elk Flat. I think I told everyone the story about the goofball who came by my garage sale last year and told me where to find the entrance......I have the map, and location of the grid for three trees, so it could be awesome......or, we could get chased out by a shotgun weilding maniac....LOL........I hope all is well with everyone. Nice to Hrear from you mike! Vyi. I'm just a couple hours south of Oreegn beach give u the tours of the redwoods and stranh beach tunnels bore so deep you ose all light from. The entrance 400yards up. Its bizzare.
Count me in for the shasta trip. I might have ti rent a car as my merceedes from 83' is on its last leg. Not good for the mountains. Be cool if we could all meet up in person!

Best wishes Be safe-loots of weird stuff goimg on. Ii laid out in the sun for a mere 20 minutes yest. And could feel solar rares cooking me and skin burning. Remember in the 80's we rub mmineral oil in and lay out from 10am to 4pm and just barely get a little red. I coulld FEEL almost here them hitting my skin. I'm bright red today after. Jjust over 20 min WITH mild sunscrreen. Scary!

Hey guys, good to hear from y'all. I'd love to come, sounds exciting, but the knees aren't happy these days​ and I don't want to be the one who has to be carried out, like in the movies.
