Called LAS and they said that there is no fee for paying with a credit card, but they will charge the difference from the exchange from American to Canadian. If the falls are no longer, I still plan at arriving at LAKS at 5 to ensure we have an on-time departure. I encourage everyone else to do so if their schedules allow.

The very earliest I can leave work is 4:30. I can be at Tom's house at 5:12 or at GFNP-MD at 5:27 at the earliest... I think.
Now, Fallsing or not Fallsing, that is the question?
The bottom line is: "we have to guarantee that we will get to Air Safari early enough on Sunday with packed boats to get on the plane at 8 am since we want to paddle a full 20 miles on Sunday". We need to consider that we have a 22h 20 min drive (excluding stops, according to Google) to Sept-iles. I let you do a little maths to figure out the time of the trip including stops (planned or not), margin of error, potential time of sleep or absence thereof...etc. to figure out if you want or rather (since we all "want to") if you think we should get on the Falls tonight.
I did my little calculations, and you know what I think. But after all, we all do those a bit differently so I am interested in the result you get. What do YOU think?

CLARIFICATION OF TOM'S EMAIL:
Just spoke with Jefe and the plan is to meet at Great Falls Maryland at 5-6 pm to layout our stuff and see who needs what and what is unnecessary. Running the falls themselves is the last priority. The point of meeting there is so that we dont clog the ever so congested Ericsson Rd, to keep Tom's neighbors happy. Once the van is loaded, we will then leave the cars infront of the Office and proceed to pass out in the van and wake up 24 hours later, at least I will. I am going to go to the office at 430-5 to get the van ready, so we will be a bit late to GF, but feel free to get there early and lay your stuff out. DEPARTURE TIME IS 7 PM
