The Nijmegen School of Management (NSM) of Radboud University, located in Nijmegen, the Netherlands, is seeking applicants for a full-time tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Finance, preferably in the area of behavioral finance, experimental finance or financial decision making. The position is available from summer 2017. 

JOB DESCRIPTION: Duties include developing and/or maintaining an active research program aimed at making a significant contribution to the profession. It is further expected that the successful candidate teaches in the Bachelor and Master programs, which includes supervising bachelor and master theses. The candidate further contributes to other administrative initiatives of the department and faculty. 

The position will be in the “Chair of Finance” (http://www.ru.nl/economics/@727369/pagina/) of the Economics department (http://www.ru.nl/economics/) of the NSM. The Chair of Finance has a particular strength in behavioral and experimental finance research. It is the aim to combine the particular strength of the candidate with the existing profile of the chair, the department and the NSM. 

ABOUT THE UNIVERSITY AND COLLEGE: Radboud University has a strong research focus and is located in Nijmegen, the Netherlands. The research activities of the NSM fall under the responsibility of the interdisciplinary Institute for Management Research (IMR), which represents the equivalent of 55 FTE staff members and 50 FTE doctoral candidates (PhDs). The educational program is given by small-scale teaching and provides a stimulating learning environment with an emphasis on the development of academic skills. The Nijmegen School of Management has about 3,300 students. The NSM actively promotes interdisciplinary work, for example by the Economics+ program. 

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Candidates must hold completed Ph.D. degree by summer 2017 from an internationally recognized program in finance, economics, psychology or closely related field. Interested candidates should have a strong record of (or considerable promise for) excellence in research and teaching on different levels. Preferred areas of research are behavioral finance, experimental finance, and financial decision making.
