Dear subscribers and SEF members,

The SEF has a new website (expfin.org), which is intended as the main platform of communication of the SEF to its members, but also for members to communicate and network with each other. We are today taking the next step by closing down this Google group and moving the discussions and announcements that were in the past made via this group to our website. Please make sure you sign up or log in to the website, head to your user profile and review which Topics you wish to be subscribed to. Make sure you tick the "Subscribe to Newsletter" box to actually receive the update mails.

The following topics in particular will take over the functionality previously offered via this Google group:

Job Postings
Members can post job openings for other members who have signed up to follow this Topic. The website will soon allow you to post your own job opening for distribution to all subscribers, but until that functionality is ready, just send us your job announcement to off...@expfin.org and we will post it for you.

Member Announcements
Members can post such announcements as conference deadlines or calls for submissions to special issues. We have included an example post below. Until the functionality to post these yourself is ready, please send us your announcement to off...@expfin.org and we will post them for you.

Member Requests
This is the Topic you can use to post requests for information (e.g., for collecting publications in a specific domain), invite discussions, etc. Essentially, this Topic is intended to mimick the "ESA Experimental Methods Discussion" group that many of you are familiar with. Once more, until the functionality to post these yourself is ready, please send us your request to off...@expfin.org and we will post it for you.

SEF Events
This is the Topic we assign to all events organized by the SEF or SEF groups. Until now we had three separate Topics (Conferences, Summer Schools and Online Talks), but we decided to streamline and merge all of these into one.

Thank you for your interest in experimental finance. We look forward to continuing the conversation with you via our website at expfin.org.

Best regards,
Stefan Palan, Sascha Füllbrunn AND Anita Kopányi-Peuker.
