The Centre for Research in International Economics (CREi) will be hosting a workshop on Bubbles in Macroeconomics: Recent Developments to be held at the Ciutadella Campus of Universitat Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona, on October 26-27, 2017. This workshop will provide an opportunity for researchers to discuss a wide range of theoretical and empirical issues on the subject of bubbles, including:
· Introducing bubbles in macro models
· Monetary policy and bubbles
· Bubbles and financial crises
· Bubbles in history
· Bubbles: Identification and testing
Authors interested in presenting research at this conference should send a draft or an extended abstract in electronic form to Jordi Galí (jg...@crei.cat) by August 15, 2017. The conference will cover the travel (coach) and accommodation expenses for the author presenting the research as well as discussants, according to CREi’s guidelines. The workshop will be supported by CREi, through the European Research Council (ERC) under the European Union’s Seventh Framework Programme (FP/2007-2013) / ERC Grant Agreement nº 339656.
