I am trying the new layout using Chrome in Mac OS and basic items for
editing entries to changes dates and descriptions are failing, should
I even expect it to work in Mac Chrome?

Hm, I'm testing under Linux Chrome and it should be pretty sharp.
However, I haven't tried Chrome under Mac. Can you give a bit more
detail about what exactly is (or isn't) happening? Thanks for your help!
