to Expect Framework
Hi,

my boss saw your talk at the agile conference last week and was very
inspired by expect.

Basically, we have an app made of html/jscript pages embedded in
CHtmlView.

I'd like to know which Jscript unit test framework can be used with
"expect". I was thinking about something like jasmine (https://
github.com/pivotal/jasmine/wiki/Background) or JSunit.

I've read your article about Watin, how do you deal with CodedUITest ?

thx..

Laurent

Hi,

Expect is a way to bridge functionnal requirements and .net code. As such, you will probably have a hard time running a javascript framework with it.
For CodedUITests, you could definitely use Expect. CodedUITest are plain .Net UI Scripts.

Best regards

ok, fair enough...
You mean "hard time" because of technical difficulties or because
there should be a gap between functionnal requirements and the
javascript methods ?
Nunit could do the trick ?

Is there a video demo available somewhere ?

Regards.

I mean hard time because you will have to call javascript from .Net code.

There is no screencast yet.

To get started, you could get to the blog and / or get a look at the samples
