Saturday, 28 September - BCF's Pink Ribbon Walk at Marina Bay Sands. More details to follow!

Dear Committee Chairs,

We hope you are enjoying your summer.  Please mark your calendars and get ready to let your colors shine at the 2012 AWA Welcome Back Fair which will be held on Wednesday, August 21^st  from 10am until 12 Noon, at The American Club, Colonial Room.

For those of you who haven’t been before, the Welcome Back Fair kicks off our membership year and is a great way to get eager members to participate in your committee and/or join your activities. Each committee will have a table space to publicize their activities, take sign ups, and generally make a splash!

This year’s theme is ‘Fun in the Sun!’ so it would be great to have as many people as possible come in beach attire – sunglasses, flip flops etc – whatever you’d like!

TABLE SPACE: We have reserved a table space for your group at the Welcome Back Fair. Please arrange to ‘man’ the table on that day, or find a couple of ladies who will, and let us know who will be attending to represent your group. The event isn’t a huge chunk of your time, but it can really bring results for your committee – the key is to make your activity appealing to new or returning members who come to the Fair.

Tips for a Great Table:

• Provide information about your activity or major event(s), with dates if known, and who to contact should they like to get involved – you could prepare a small flyer
• Have some decorations for your table that highlight what you do
• Have a contact sign-up sheet for people interested in serving on your committee or attending your activities or events

Printing can be done at the office, but please email the completed flyer/signup sheet ASAP or stop by to make copies yourself.

We typically get 300 people attending on the day itself, and well over half of them are new members, so there will be plenty of people to reach out to! 

Please reply to the office ASAP with the name(s) of people who will be at your table.
