Roller Die + Forming is a premier supplier of high quality, competitively priced custom roll formed products for a wide variety of industries and applications. For standard shapes, run quantities of 5,000 feet or more can take advantage of our Standard Tooling Library. For custom shapes, 20,000 feet or more per year easily justifies custom tooling costs.
We are one of the few companies in the industry with a dedicated, full-time, in-house engineering staff available to design custom tooling to meet your custom requirements. Our engineers are on-hand and prepared to work with you to assure parts to take advantage of the roll form processes' various cost-saving benefits.
Almost any material that can tolerate bending to a desired radius can be roll formed. The more ductile the material is, the better it will roll form. The roll forming process can handle ferrous, nonferrous, hot rolled, cold rolled, polished, plated, or pre-painted metals producing excellent results.
When you purchase the Harbor Freight Tubing roller it comes with three roller die sets, 1.0" 1.5" and 2.0" round tube dies. If you are looking for additional tubing roller dies for the Harbor Freight tubing roller and or the HULK tubing roller you have came to the right spot.
As it currently stands we have 78 different sizes of dies available. We stock round tube dies, square dies, round pipe dies as well as a universal edge roller dies set for rolling flat bar on edge, cap rail dies and dies for rolling square on edge in a diamond shape. These dies are compatible with our HULK tubing roller as well as the Harbor Freight tubing roller.
The SWAG machined 4130 chromoly premium drive axle is required and must be used with our dies. One drive axle is compatible with every dies set we produce, hence you will only need one axle regardless of how many die sets you own.
The drive axles as well as the center drive rollers are now broached and keyed. Using the a key way will eliminate the hassle of constantly tightening the set screws and trying to keep the "wobble" out of the center drive roller.
We currently offer the dies in the following configurations round tube, round pipe, square, as well as a full line unique dies for doing flat bar in edge or square in a diamond profile. In addition we also offer a full line of Delrin dies in round tube, round pipe and square sizes.
Not sure of the difference between pipe and tube? Simply put, tube is measured from the outside diameter, and pipe is measured on the inside diameter of the part. For example: 1-1/2" pipe will have an OD of 1.90", where as the 1-1/2" tubing will have an actual OD of 1-1/2" See attached pipe size table below.
Our Hand Rail Cap dies are exclusively made to fit King Metal's "Molded Cap Rail" profile material only. These dies will fit King Metal's 1.750" small profile, the 2.250" large profile, as well as the .50" channel which the cap rail mounts to. We created these dies with the intention of having everything readily available for your hand rail rolling needs, without having to switch out dies when changing material. Check out our example picture below and demonstration video above for more information.
We haven't used the chromoly dies yet but we have used the heck out of our carbon 1", 1-1/2", and 2". This machine has been an awesome addition to our shop. We added the pipe threader and foot pedal from harbor freight.
I'm sure we'll be super happy with the chromoly 2". I submitted a question regarding the raised part in the main die and received a prompt, informative, and kind response that showed the company's dedication to its end users and performance of their products.
Highly recommend!
I've used the steel dies on my HF Hop up kit for years and tried a set of Delrin dies for rolling aluminum. Operation was fine with no marring or spalling or slipping either as far as I could tell.
The only problem is that these are wider than any of my steel dies and I had to remove the welded on spacers on my roller. I wasn't expecting this.

This is a variety of a cream horn, which was brought to North America by Mennonites from the Austrian-Hungarian Empire.[2] Also popular with immigrants from the Danube region (such as the Danube Swabians[3]), Schaumrollen or Schillerlocken can be made up to five inches long, and are served as a treat on major holidays such as Christmas, as well as at weddings and first Communion celebrations.[4] In Austria, they are consumed throughout the year as a treat or afternoon snack, alongside a cup of coffee.
Like many pastries, this dessert is high in calories; an Austrian Schaumrolle is estimated to have almost 200 calories per single piece, of which 46 percent are fats, and 49 percent carbohydrates.[5]
Schillerlocken, the alternate name for the pastry, goes back to Anton Graff's Portrait of Friedrich Schiller. The portrait shows poet Friedrich Schiller with his blond curls in relatively casual pose sitting at a table. This portrait, which is now located in Dresden in the Kgelgenhaus, was often copied and found widespread use as a copper engraving, which led to the emergence of the naming of the pastry in popular culture.[6]
The Japanese are really on to something with these patterned cake rolls. They are as impressive to behold as they are delicious to eat, and are arguably much easier and less time-intensive than fancy frosted layer cakes.
I originally went for a more abstract strawberry design, with a pink background, green squiggles and yellow seeds. It came out quite cute, but looked more like an Easter egg than a strawberry. And unfortunately, I failed big time when it came to the filling on that first roll, attempting a strawberry marshmallow filling that, while it tasted amazing, oozed out of the ends of the roll like sweet, sticky magma.
