Is Exodus dead?

There was a time when Exodus was my viewer of choice. It was stable, it had the features I wanted, and it ran well on my older system. Things went quiet for a while and the project changed hands. When there was finally an update, I was sad to discover that my aging system just couldn't handle it. I was just too slow for me to enjoy my SL so reluctantly, I moved to another viewer but I kept watching for a new update, hoping maybe things would improve with a future version of the software.

I've had the opportunity to upgrade my hardware and now have the luxury of running whichever viewer I choose so I came back to take another look at Exodus. I was disappointed to see that the OS X viewer has not been updated in nine months and there have been no updates on any platform in almost seven months.

Which leads me to the question... is the Exodus project dead?

well things have been alittle dark, and of course we all understand that the dev team have a life outside of this. but meh we'd like to know rather or not the viewer is still being worked on. i know the team doesn't owe me or the users anything but i believe, heck we all believe in this viewer and wouldn't want it to fade into the abyss.

 it was my favortive viewer for a nice nice while, but since there hasn't been any updates, or post in the front page like what most sites or devs of viewers do giving a small taste preview, or let the users know about any postpones and delays, well it's alittle hard for the folks that are true believers of this viewer and the work you all are doing to stick around, it's nothing against you guys i would think we all think it'd be alittle better if you guys made more updates to the site and the viewer if at all possable. also parden my horrable typos and gammer. i'm doing this ubber early in the morning before class, i'm not all the way here. XDD

An explanation on whether the viewer is going to ever be updated again? I would like to know also whats happening with it as exodus was slowly becoming my fav viewer but as the op said it hasn't been updated in forever with no word on any future updates. I was hoping that exodus would become my new main viewer but at the moment that isn't a possibility really with lack of updates

Cool so they are still working on it! I hope a new Mac version is ready soon!
