How to switch from manual install of Exodus to using package Management - Ubuntu

I followed your install guidelines before you had all of the package
management working.

How would I convert over to using aptitude? Do I need to manually
remove exodus? If so, how would I do that?

cd ~/exodus
sudo make uninstall

or i am on irc if you prefer interactive irc://irc.freenode.net/exodusdb ... we can always post the result afterwards
