If you are 65 years old or older and have been living in the United States as a lawful permanent resident of the United States for 20 or more years, you may study just the 20 questions that have been marked with an asterisk (*). You may also take the naturalization test in the language of your choice. For more information, see exceptions and accommodations or the USCIS Policy Manual Citizenship and Naturalization Guidance.
Note: On the naturalization test, some answers may change because of elections or appointments. You must answer the question with the name of the official serving at the time of your naturalization interview. For the answers to these specific questions, please visit the Civics Test Updates page.
A new four-part video series summarizing the naturalization interview and test is available. This video series is a helpful resource for those who want to learn more about, or are preparing for, the naturalization interview.
In this section of the Citizenship Resource Center, you will find information about the Naturalization Test requirements; study materials for the English and civics test, including flash cards, pocket study guides, videos, or interactive practices tests; and information on updates or changes to the Naturalization Test. We also offer citizenship resources in other languages.
I've registered for the CGRC exam in March 2024. I've bought and read the Official (ISC)2 Guide to the CAP CBK 2nd Edition. The publisher information for the guide on Amazon says it was published in 2016, but the copyright notice in the book itself says 2013 (and a lot of the text uses terminology, examples, and references dating from the mid-2000s).
ISC2's web page for CGRC training includes a link for self study tools such as "official text books", "official study guides", and "official practice tests". But when I click on "Learn More", all I find are flashcards (I've downloaded these, but studying flashcards is not my preferred study method) and an online study group (which hardly seems like a self study option).
Greetings. Recently, @emb021 posted a good list of material on this thread. Largely, CGRC is covered by the standards created by NIST and ISO (leaning more heavily on the NIST material, by the way), so you should develop a strong familiarity with the Special Publications.
Thanks. I knew I was going to have to get into the NIST SPs, but I was hoping for some summary guides first. As for ISC2's suggested resources, it's out of date (it cites superseded versions of documents; the one cited summary guide is a decade old).
Is there no summary of what ISC2 considers the CBK to be so I have an idea what to focus on in the SPs? How much do I have to know about the ISO 27001 (which has been revised since the latest summary guide was published)?
l think studying NIST SP 800- 37 r2 couples of times should be enough because it covers all other publications required to pass the exams. You can also go to youtube and search for GRACESUFF IT SOLUTIONS, there is a summary of all the domains that will really help for the exams.
These study guides contain examination information, tips for studying and test-taking, and sample test items developed and reviewed by content experts. Sample test answer keys include explanations of each correct answer, enabling you to expand your knowledge even further and commit new concepts to memory.

Each Michigan Test for Teacher Certification (MTTC) subject area test has a study guide available for free through the MTTC website. Within the study guide, you will find test objectives and sample questions to help you understand potential test content and practice questions.
The MTTC website also includes general information and additional resources about test preparation, computer-based testing (CBT) tutorials, virtually touring a test center, and score report explanations.
You should become familiar with the test structure for your subject area, noting areas you are less comfortable with. Next, carefully read through the test objectives. For each test objective, read each descriptive statement, pausing to ask self-assessment questions.
Each question aligns to exactly one test objective. Study guide sample questions are organized by test objective with each objective clearly marked (see example that follows). For practice test questions, the answer key indicates which test objective each question assesses.
In addition to answering these questions, try to align each question to one descriptive statement in the test objective. This helps you understand how the test objectives relate to test questions, giving you a better idea of what other kinds of questions to expect on your test date.
You likely have access to a wide range of additional resources. First, check with your educator preparation program for supports that they offer. Any Michigan-based educator preparation program provider has supports in place for their candidates. Additionally, think back to your coursework and how it prepared you for these concepts. You may have class notes, slides, articles, or books that you can draw from. Michigan-based educator preparation program providers can help you map your coursework to the test objectives. (This may be limited for alternative route providers and out-of-state programs.)
The study guides and practice tests found on the MTTC website are developed specifically for the MTTC program, reviewed by Michigan teachers and teacher educators, and are the intellectual property of the State of Michigan. No other resources have been developed with this level of specificity, using the MTTC program style, with input from Michigan teachers and teacher educators. Products and programs claiming alignment to MTTC content have not undergone the same level of quality assurance and review and should be cautiously considered before purchasing.

Excerpt: Removing the tops of tobacco plants also removes the dominant influence of the terminal shoot over lateral shoots, or "suckers." If left unchecked, suckers can severely reduce tobacco yield and quality. Manual control of suckers, however, is increasingly handled by less expensive and more efficient chemical control.

The road to becoming an ASP and CSP is different for everyone. The Associated Safety Professional Exam consists of 200 exam questions over a 5 hour time span that covers 7 different domains. The Certified Safety Professional Exam is a 200 question exam that covers 9 domains in which you have 5.5 hours to complete. Each exam requires intensive studying and usage of appropriate study materials.
I recently passed my Certified Safety Professional Exam and wanted to share my thoughts on the study preparation material I used. To be clear these are completely my own opinions and my own experience with the material. Everyone is different, with unique backgrounds and therefore we all need to have specific study maps to achieve our ultimate goals.
To start I will give you a brief background of my experience with the ASP and CSP. I passed my ASP back in May of 2017 and passed my CSP March of 2018. I had a gap in the time because of personal reasons and wanted to take my ASP for growth. In my opinion, I do not recommend spacing the exams out at all. Much of the material that is studied for the ASP is used in application for the CSP exam questions.
Below are a list of the materials I used along my journey. Please note they are all great and no matter what material you use to prepare, you need to put in the studying time to be successful. That being said if you create a plan for yourself and keep working at it, you will accomplish your goal in adding those letters to your name.
Hopefully this overview offered you some insight into choosing your study material. Best of luck and remember stay with it and you will be successful! (Note: all of the study materials have been hyperlinked in this article directly from the sites for easy access). Feel free to share!
