Hi, I tried to change the default install location for games in Lutris to another drive as the drive my OS is on was getting full, after changing the game install path and also wine prefix location I was unable to get a game to install any where other than the default location /home/.wine I changed everything back to the way is was, freed up some space and tried to install a game, which failed with an error about IsDone.dll, I had 23GB free at the time and the game needed 2GB. I uninstalled lutris and wine and renamed the .wine folder to .wine.old and renamed all remaining Lutris folders. I reinstalled wine and Lutris, I ran into the same issue with IsDone.dll. I remove lutris and wine again deleted the new folders that were created and changed .old back to what they were. I then installed wine and lutris again. My games installed piror to this issue are running fine. I installed a new game and this time used the default system\wine runner and the game installed, I then uninstalled the game and then tried with the lutris runners and ran into the IsDone.dll message again. I tried downloading a few more lutris runners and had the same problem. If I install with system\wine runner then change runner to lutris after install the game will hang or crash. The game will run fine with system\wine runner. Ive spend a few hours on this so far and was thinking about reinstalling my OS, any help you give me would be gratefully appreciated.
That half worked, I cant install using Wine-6,20-GE-1, I still run into the issue with isDone.dll, I can install using the default system runner, but game now runs when I switch runner back to Wine-6,20-GE-1 when before any new installs would crash when ran with anything other than the default system runner. I extracted wine-6,20-GE-1, into /home/USERNAME/.local/share/lutris/runners/wine/
I also tried it as you suggested and had it in a folder in my downloads called runners and pointed lutris towards wine64 When I was unable to install a game using it as you asked I then extracted to the default lutris folder. Both ways still gave me the isdone.dll error.
Did you get the isdone.dll error installing Epic Games Store? Also what is your hardware config (cpu, amount of ram and cpu)? isDone.dll errors seem common with many Windows games installation so it is not a Linux issue and in some cases is related to insufficient temp space or ram (pagefile size in Windows) or using a corrupt install image (downloaded image when game required a CD for installation).
Also, can you get a screenshot of the exact isdone.dll error you are seeing and which game you are trying to install that gives this error? Do you see the same error in Windows?
I did get the error installing epic games store. Ive tested 10 games so far and all fail to install with isdone.dll if using anything other than the default system runner. The games install fine under windows and using the default system runner in Linux its just any of the other runners that cause the issue when trying to install. The below error I got when trying to install Starbound with Lutris-ge-6.20-1

I'm trying to install some very compressed game packages using different PCs (for example: Ace Combat 7 Skies Unknown v1.0.1 (Monkey Repack) [FitGirl Repack] and RESIDENT EVIL 2 Deluxe Edition + 9 DLCs [FitGirl Repack]).
If I use the sandboxie, a very common error appears regarding two isdone.dll and unarc.dll libraries that promptly disappears by installing the package outside the sandbox.

Hi, it is a common error you can come across when you install anything software or game on PC using Windows 10 or 8. The 'isdone.dll' error might be caused when the registry in your computer has been destroyed or damaged and the 'unarc.dll' file error can occur when a program is not able to locate and use this file. Both the error can be fixed easily and differently. Both isdone.dll and unarc.dll errors actually can be fixed to fix isdone.dll you need not run registry cleaner if still, it doesn't work try a step by step solution to fix isdone.dll.
I solved this poblem by changing from within the Sandbox the "system variables" setting for TMP, TEMP folders to an empty folder outside of my system profile (this is for preventing any sandboxed processes from modyfying files in my real temporary folder), then enabling Full access to that specific folder in the Sandbox settings. In that case unpacking completes without any errors. After a successful installation the changed settings can be safely reverted.
These errors are obviously caused by the more strict access rights and permissions policy introduced in Win 10. I never faced issues like that with Win 7 or 8. Hopefully, I do not put my system at risk by making an empty non-system folder accessible and perhaps there might be a more subtle and secure solution too.
Oh sorry about that. I torrent games i can't afford on steam. I used to download on codex's website before the issue but now i primarily used dodi-repack. So far 1 of the games from that site, doesn't work, nfs heat. But house party, nfs underground, euro truck simulator 2 and nba 2k14 work. Granted all are under 10 gb disk space. Oh and adobe photoshop, and google chrome, utorrent, vlc media player also work.
Are you saying the repack is the issue. Okay, just to prove one of us wrong, I'll go on steam and hopefully i can afford nfs heat, try to install it and come back with an answer. Just to prove this, I'm willing to sell my phone just to afford it if i can't
I have no problem with my legally purchased games
From what I've read, it regularly comes up that this problem happens with people who have downloaded games illegally..
Possible that this is not the only cause, but a very strong probability!
Anyway, since it's against community guidelines, I have to stop here!
در پنجره باز شده تیک گزینه Automatically manage paging file size for all drivers را برداشته و دکمه Custom size را به حالت انتخاب درآورید. در کادر Initial size و Maximum size مقادیر را به ترتیب 400 و 3000 وارد و سپس تمامی پنجره را با انتخاب دکمه OK تایید کنید.

regsvr32 isdone.dll یا اون دومی رو توی cmd می نویسیم ارور میده چیزی پیدا نشد . من ویندوزم ۷ ۶۴ بیتی هست توی syswow 64 هم انتقال دادم فایلهایی که گفته بودید رو ولی وقتی توی cmd وارد کردم نوشت چیزی یافت نشد توی system 32 هم انتقال دادم ولی نشد

سلام مجدد من توی نت گشتم و بالاخره ارور ها برطرف شدند و فایل های dll معتبر بود
شما فقط کافیه از اینجا فایل ها رو دانلود کنید و برای اطمینان بیشتر فایل ها رو هم در پوشه System32 و هم در پوشه SysWOW64 کپی کنید و مشکلتون احتمال زیاد حل میشه

حتما بعد از اینکه فایل ها رو کپی کردید نصب بازی یا برنامه خودتون رو دوباره امتحان کنید. برای من که میخواستم fifa 15 نصب کنم مشکل حل شد.
دوستان کل اینترنت رو گشتم هیچکدوم فایده نداشت تا اینکه فهمیدم باید visual c ها رو همشو نصب کنید از visual c 2005 تا ۲۰۱۵ مخصوصا visual c 2013 حتما حتما نصب بشه تمومه برین حالشو ببرید.
با سلام وقت بخیر. برای نصب بازی mortal kombat 11 fitgirl repack به این ارور برخوردم و همه روش های شما و سرچ های گوگل رو زدم اما برطرف نشد حتی ویندوز هم عوض کردم. مشخصاتمم بالاست. رم 16 گرافیک 8 کوادرو آ۷ 6820hq هارد 1256گیگ اما متاسفانه ارور برطرف نشد. خواهشمندم راه چاره ای بگید. ارور من اینه.
