Netflix Exhibitor is now Soabase Exhibitor.

Exhibitor has been released to the community by Netflix. After many years of neglect by me, we (as in you!) now have the opportunity to make Exhibitor be whatever we want it to be. Personally, I don't have the time or energy to maintain Exhibitor. But I am willing to be its steward if there's interest. Here's what we need:
  • A group of people who are willing to maintain and update the code
  • A community of active users
  • Good suggestions for the current and future Exhibitor
To be honest, if there's no interest, Exhibitor will just die. I hope that doesn't happen. I know that there are a lot of people still using it. There are numerous bugs and pull request. So, what do you say?

This message has had over 60 views. Any thoughts? Anyone interested in becoming a maintainer Any ideas on how to go forward? I'd appreciate replies.

+1 I was asking around whether we should fork this 
I did a code review a few months ago and was thinking about cleaning it up before starting to work on it, but didn't want to unless it had some sort of support from community.

I was going to take another stab at https://github.com/soabase/exhibitor/pull/286, by making it use an optional environment variable, and then I was going to start testing https://github.com/soabase/exhibitor/pull/305 regardless.

Well I just started going through PRs, issues and looking at the code yesterday actually.
I've had no previous knowledge of the internals of exhibitor. I'm not confident at all about actually merging anything in or closing any issues.
I shall hazard a guess that most of the contributors who volunteered here are in a similar position.

On a side note, can you help enable Travis CI? This would give us a little confidence that PRs at least build on a known environment. I think admin permission level is required.
You can first merge in the config file here https://github.com/soabase/exhibitor/pull/322, then log on to Travis. 
I would also appreciate it if you could give me write permission so that I don't have to fork new PRs out of a PR in order to edit it.
I promise I won't do anything evil.

There are now 10 people with write perms on the project. I’d like to see one of them do it. Or, did I mess up? I shouldn’t be the only one with perms to do this.

My mistake. I originally thought you can directly modify branches tied to PRs by adding commits to the associated branch.
It looks like the minimal way doing this still require me creating a new branch off of theirs and merge that new branch instead even with write access.
