Hope your end of semester and into summer is going well. I just received this message from one of the guys at Playlab wondering what the results for the Yippie contest were. If letters already went out could you also send an email letting him know that he will receive word shortly? If the letters haven't gone out could someone there at YORK please be in contact with him, and the rest of the finalists, right away to let them know the final outcome of the voting. It's difficult to feel like our hands are tied on this end, as this statement needs to come from YORK, but they are still counting on us to keep them informed throughout this process!

Hello Sara,
I just sent a message to Fred about this. The only letter I was asked to draft was to the winner and this was in a letter format, not an e-mail. I really think the Pratt Group should contact the finalist to let them know the results. It’s clear the submitters have a relationship with the group. You can certainly copied York on the message and if they have further questions about York’s involvement, you can give them my contact information.

I will compose the letters (pdfs) and individually attach them to emails
to the winner and the two semifinalists. My letter to the winner, Timothy
Gay, will contain congratulations and information on what he has to do to
collect the $500 prize from Pratt. I will also state that York will
continue to notify him about any progress made on the funding for the
construction and installation of his design on the York campus - and
finally Larese, as you stated, it will include your contact information.

We have received the W9 from Timothy Gay and he will receive a $500 check
from Pratt within three weeks. The remaining funds in the account will be
equally divided and distributed to the five Pratt students who have
diligently worked on this project over the last year and a half.
