I believe that there should be an option/tool on the fdrs that is for repairing the ipma after a failed update. Try that if possible then if you didn't the first time try using a high speed USB stick to do the ipma update. Good luck

I'm on vacation this week and don't have my fdrs in front of me. After doing some reading on it you are correct, only apim and tcu for that tool. I would try doing a module reset, then try programming again while using the battery maintainer.
