The highlight of FSD Beta v12 lies in its increased usage of neural networks. A neural network in artificial intelligence is akin to the human brain's network of neurons. It is a complex system that learns from large datasets - in Tesla's case, millions of video clips - to recognize patterns and make informed decisions. This machine-learning approach allows the system to adapt and improve continuously.

Neural networks are already used for determining surroundings, detecting objects, and more, but FSD v12 will be the first time Tesla adds neural networks that control the vehicle's acceleration, braking, and steering. According to Musk, FSD Beta v12 features end-to-end neural networks, meaning that these AI networks are used for everything, from vehicle input (cameras) to vehicle output (steering).

While the exact timeline for FSD Beta v12's release to public testers remains unknown, the expansion to additional employees is a promising sign. FSD Beta v12.1 is currently Tesla update 2023.44.30.10, although we'll likely see additional releases before it goes out to public testers.

Back in June of 2023, Musk said that FSD would finally graduate out of beta with FSD v12, however, the release notes for v12.1 clearly state "FSD Beta v12.1." Musk's goal could be for FSD to come out of beta with an eventual v12 release, but at this time it looks like FSD will remain in beta - at least in its current state.

Tesla has begun to reach out to customers in the United States and is offering demo drives of the Cybertruck on an invite-only basis. @brandonhd on X shared the first invite image, and it looks like it's going out quite quickly to multiple locations that have Cybertrucks on display.

The list of locations so far for demo drives appears to be fairly limited, but we will hopefully see demo drives roll out throughout the United States, and eventually Canada too. Here is the current list of city/state locations that have seen demo drive invites.

TeslaFi logs your drives and charging sessions, letting you keep a log of your vehice's activity. We highly recommend checking them out if you use your car for business trips and would like to keep track of reimbursements, if you like to see how much you spend on charging or if you just love statistics. Visit their site and see everything they have to offer!

In less than 10 months since the groundbreaking release of Veeam Data Platform, the world of data protection has seen significant changes and advancements with a focus on cybersecurity and more than ever, the protection of data as a primary focus for all organizations.

In addition to Veeam Backup & Replication v12.1, the 23H2 update also included a whole new release cycle. This suite of products ensures comprehensive data protection across multiple platforms, emphasizing mobility and portability to avoid lock-in and includes:

Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365 v8 will be following in 2024 to round out the key elements of the Veeam Data Platform that Cloud and Service Providers can build upon and offer key service offerings with.

I am new to infragistic controls, and getting the following error when i try to build my winforms application with ''Infragistics4.Win.UltraWinGrid.v12.1'. The dll is there but it says the dll is missing. This worked on my colleague 's PC with the same version of licences. Your help is appreciated.

The license file is part of your solution. You maybe have to set the solution explorer in Visual Studio to show all files, because it hide the license (licx) file by default in some languages, like Visual Basic.

Phantom v12.1's custom-designed 1280 x 1800 CMOS sensor allows a wider aspect ratio than possible with other cameras. This means that the user can see more of the event than is currently being recorded

Veeam Backup & Replication v12.1 introduces an our first major implementation to cyberthreat detection, focusing on minimizing data loss from cyberattacks by ensuring a clean backup stream from which to recover from. We are detecting threats inline during backups or in real-time by integrating with EDR tools and SIEM systems. Key features include inline malware detection that performs entropy analysis to identify ransomware encryption, and suspicious file system activity detection that searches for known malware signs. Additionally, early threat detection via the Veeam Incident API marks restore points created after detected infections. The update also enhances malware recovery capabilities, with tools like YARA scans to identify clean restore points and robust event-based threat tracking. This suite of security enhancements in v12.1 ensures more efficient threat detection, faster response times, and reinforced protection against malware reintroductions, all while providing seamless event forwarding to SIEM systems for comprehensive security management.

The 12.1 release marks a significant advancement in Continuous Data Protection (CDP) with substantial improvements in performance and reliability. The update boasts a 4x increase in VMs and virtual disks support and a 2x decrease in compute requirements, enhancing protection for T1 workloads in large-scale environments. Notable features include the ability to perform item-level recovery and test failover on CDP replicas without halting replication. New functionalities such as file-level recovery from any point in time, application item-level recovery, automated recoverability testing, and the I/O Anomaly Visualizer for precise recovery timing, collectively elevate the CDP feature, assuring minimal data loss and more reliable disaster recovery solutions.

I am running v12.1 IDE. I cannot seem to have multiple tools bars visible at the same time. For example if I want to use the VIEW toolbar so I can toggle between the UI and the code I cannot hat the debug toolbar enabled. Or vice-versa.

Are you using High-DPI? I was using mine in a multi-monitor setup where one of the monitors is High DPI and the other is regular resolution. My default desktop would run Delphi on the High-DPI monitor so I could see more on the screen at once while coding but I wanted to see the code while running the application, also on High-DPI, so the debug desktop was on the other monitor. After a few debug sessions with Delphi switching back and forth between the monitors, it started going wonky, so I just gave up and now always run Delphi on the High-DPI monitor only (always in DPI-unaware mode).

I am glad that I am not the only who have had this issue. Using IDE on multiple monitors is not reliable. I am using that way only when I have to debug High-DPI or multi monitor setup, otherwise the IDE is on my secondary 2k monitor and laptop display is turned off.

Good to know I am not the only one with that kind of setup. And yes, the toolbars are being scrambled on my system too. And I don't even move the IDE between the HighDPI and normal display, it stays on the HighDPI display all the time. That doesn't prevent the problem from occurring though.

I also find that the toolbars are all moved or gradually enlarged. In my case, it seems to me that the problem occurs when returning from a computer standby (returning from a lunch break) or even when only the monitor goes into standby because it has been inactive for a few minutes; in these cases, when the PC or monitor reactivates, I see the IDE flickering, and I find the toolbars messed up.

With this issue, I have often found the sizes of the forms open in the IDE at that moment messed up. Now I am getting into the habit of closing the IDE when I'm not using it and if I have to step away from the PC (which is ridiculous!).

In this new version one of the most interesting new feature is perhaps the Inline Malware Detection that allows the administrators to ensure malware free backups during the execution of a Backup Job.

To protect backups from possible malware infections, Veeam Backup and Replication v11 already introduced the Secure Restore in SureBackup to allow the administrators to scan backups against malware before performing the recovery.

With Veeam v12.1 is now possible to analyzes block-level data during backup leveraging the new Inline Malware Detection feature. You can enable this feature from the menu Settings > Malware Detection.

During the backup operation, Veeam collects metadata and statistics and data are cross-correlated. Once the backup has been completed, malware metadata file is stored in the VBRcatalog and current and previous malware metadata are compared to identify possible unwanted changes.

Incremental backup size, encryption (absolute size and percent), compression, removed data and newly encrypted data are the values analyzed to identify if a backup is infected.

To detect if previously unencrypted data become encrypted in processed disk images (typical indicator of a ransomware attack), the In-Guest Index detection can be used to find encrypted files and malware binaries.

For a deeper analysis to better detect possible malware infections, Veeam v12.1 leverages the YARA rules, fully customizable patterns used to identify targeted attacks and security threats.
