union action

Dear Friends,

I discuss with some leaders of the other unions regarding union action. They are discussing to form a joint committee of unions. Without joining with big union, we are not going to take union action. There will be a token strike on 15^th by some non-academic unions. We are not support to it as a union.

There is no any union invitation to join with union action. There is no join committee. When they take or not take the union action we do not know any information.

We have to work if possible.

Everyone can support to the pickets as personally.

 

We are facing following difficulties.

Pay Tax on salary

Fuel price

Electricity bill

Cost of living

                            …………..

If we are doing the strike or pickets individually, what is the purpose of this union? Why do we pay a membership fee every month?

There were no meetings called for more than two years. I feel like the union doesn't have any usefulness to its members.
