Position: Senior Python Developer
Location: Sunnyvale, CA
Work Model: Hybrid – Onsite 3 days/week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday)
Experience: 8–13 Years
Type: Contract
We are seeking a Senior Python Developer with strong backend engineering experience and hands-on exposure to AI/ML-driven systems. This role focuses on building scalable services and AI-powered features, including LLM-based workflows, similarity search, and vector database integrations.
This is a hybrid role requiring onsite presence three days per week.
Key Responsibilities
• Design and develop scalable backend services using Python
• Build and integrate AI/ML-driven capabilities such as LLM inference, similarity search, and vector database solutions
• Develop REST APIs and service layers using frameworks such as Django or Flask
• Collaborate across teams to deliver robust, production-grade systems
• Participate in architectural discussions and independently drive technical solutions
• (Optional) Contribute to front-end components using React
Required Skills
• Strong expertise in Python development
• Experience with Django and/or Flask
• Solid understanding of Core Java / Advanced Java
• Experience developing AI/ML technologies such as:
o LLM inference
o Similarity search
o Vector databases
o Guardrails / LangChain
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Experience with VectorDB implementations
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
