Position: Infrastructure Engineer
Location: Austin, TX (Onsite/Hybrid as required)
Duration: 12 Months + Possible Extension

Role Overview

We are seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to support a strategic migration to Amazon Web Services (AWS). This role will focus on infrastructure design, planning, and preparation activities leading up to a Q3 cloud migration. The ideal candidate has hands-on AWS expertise and experience preparing enterprise environments for cloud transition.

Key Responsibilities

Design and prepare AWS infrastructure for an upcoming migration initiative

Plan and implement AWS-based solutions aligned to best practices

Support and manage containerized workloads using AWS EKS

Configure and manage AWS services including:

EC2

S3

IAM

KMS

Implement security, access control, and encryption standards

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align infrastructure with application requirements

Document architecture, configurations, and migration strategies

Required Skills & Experience

Strong hands-on experience with AWS

Experience with:

AWS EC2

AWS S3

AWS IAM

AWS KMS

AWS EKS

Experience designing cloud infrastructure and preparing migration strategies

Strong understanding of AWS security and identity management

Experience with infrastructure-as-code and automation is a plus

Nice to Have

Prior experience supporting enterprise cloud migration projects

Familiarity with containerized environments and Kubernetes
