A fair request from Area 18

Dear Division E excom

Thank you for helping us organizing the workshop “Triangle of success”
 
The profit that we achieved from this event was QR 2751
 
There is a genuine request from Area 18 Team that this profit need to be released to Area 18 Team in March 2013 for the Area 18 contest purpose.
 
The reasons are
  • This money has been obtained through sponsorship efforts done exclusively by Area 18 members on personal grounds
  • We do not want any other events to make use of this profit from the Div E account to cover for any loss if at all has occurred or may occur in the future
  • We should not be running behind sponsorship again for Area 18 contest after making a surplus in Area 18 workshop & not using it.
  • This is achievement for Area 18 team & need to be recognized by releasing it back to Area 18 team
  • Finally …we are planning to use the same for the benefit of Toastmasters ONLY...during Area 18 Contest.
Please note that this is a fair request.
 
We look forward to a positive response from the Division E excom on this at the earliest.

I feel this is a fair request. Let's keep it in Division A/C against Area 18 surplus and return it to them during the Area 18 contests.

Dear AG

I appreciate all your efforts and the job very well done. Ad a district officer, you must have read in the District leaders manual that any amount collected on behalf of toastmasters belongs to the District and not our Division. This doesnt mean that we need to send the excess amount of Division to the District.

Any amount collected by any us (we individuals form one group and one team) is for the Division and the Division means all Areas which includes Area 18 too. Your request is definitely fair and will be considered.
