Dear Area Governors,
One of the important and THE MAIN objective of the Toastmasters program is, that each MEMBER achieves his Goal.
The Goal of every Member is to become Competent Communicator and Competent Leader at the least and strive to become DTM.
We can consider our journey towards CC & CL as the Schooling and then the higher studies starts. The school is full of fun and learning without much responsibilities. The higher Education is bit serious and moulds the life’s direction.
Now it’s up to each individual which direction he/she would like to mould the aspirations in Toastmasters and What GOAL he / she would like to set.
TMI has set a GOAL for each Toastmaster Club and as leaders if we do not achieve it, it’s not worth to be leaders.
You as Area Governor, I as ADGET, it is our collective responsibility to make sure that each members achieves his/ her Goal.
The President of every club needs to make sure that he has knowledge of the Goals set for the Club. VP Education needs to know who are the target members to achieve these Goals. The Area EXCOM needs to follow up very closely and get updated on a regular basis.
As DIVISION E, the DIVISION needs to complete the tasks on or before 30th March All the set Goals. That Means we want all the Clubs in DIV E to achieve their 10/10 DCP points by 30th March 2012.
If you are a Competitive Leader you would say “WHY NOT?” “IT IS POSSIBLE”, if you don’t have confidence in yourself then perhaps numbers of reasons will appear before you.
DELEGATE the tasks and surely you will get it done.
Attached is the File, pls fill the details Per Club and start follow up on the DCP points. I need this file duly filled for each club by 25th Sept 2012. We will monitor the progress Quarterly.
You just need to list down the names and details of members for each club and get the Target date and then start follow up on it.
