Enhancing Communication Through Creative Design: A Canva Familiarisation Session
We all know that personalised and creatively designed communication stands out and captures the recipient's attention. In today’s world, where we are inundated with messages, notices, and updates, the way we present our communication can make a significant difference. When these are presented in a clutter-free, visually appealing format, people are far more likely to open, read, and engage with them.
During a recent EFSI AP&TG State Committee meeting, our Chairman, Sri S.V. Ramachandra Rao Garu, thoughtfully raised the idea of presenting our notices and important messages in a unique and engaging manner to ensure they don’t go unnoticed. Responding to this, our committee member Mr. Amar Chegu, known for facilitating co-creation and safe collaboration spaces in organisations, immediately offered to introduce the committee to Canva, a powerful design tool.
What is
Canva?
Canva is a popular visual design platform and mobile app that empowers users to
create a wide array of materials—from social media graphics and presentations
to posters and even websites. Its user-friendly interface, vast template
library, and accessible design tools make it ideal for both beginners and
experienced users alike.
True to his word, today Mr. Amar Chegu conducted a highly interactive and informative session for all committee members and their representatives. He demonstrated how Canva can be effectively used to design impactful social media posts, presentations, and other communication materials. His generous sharing of time and knowledge was deeply appreciated.
