The spring is finally here, so it's about time for a picnic. Have you
heard about "OPEN AIR MUSEUM OF THE CENTRE OF EUROPE"? No? So you
have a chance to see this significant and interesting place this
Saturday (04-21). This open-air museum exhibits over 90 works created
by artists from all over the world. One of the most famous objects is
"LNK Infotree" made of 3000 TV sets also "Chair/Pool", "Drinking
Structure with Exposed Kidney Pool" and many other amazing creations.

For more info about this park visit: http://www.europosparkas.lt/

The ticket price for students is 18 litas. However, if the group
consists of 20 or 30 people, the price will be lower (about 15 litas).
If you would like to have a guide for the excursion, let us know. The
service additionally costs 100 litas for a group (3-4 litas for
person). Just don't forget your ISIC or LSP!

Meeting point - "Pramogų arena" public transport stop at 10.35am. It's
not far from "Akropolis" shopping centre. You can reach this place by
bus 45 (if you're coming from Saulėtekis) or buses 26, 53 and
trolleybuses 5, 6 (if you're coming from the centre).

On this link you can see the route of the bus 146, which will take us
from "Pramogų arena" stop to the park. Please, pay attention on the
location of our meeting point, because only bus 26 stops exactly where
we meet. If you choose other transport you'll have to walk few
minutes. The fare of this journey is 4 litas one way. You'll be able
to pay on the bus.

So take some snacks and let's spend few hours in the nature enjoying
sun and meeting new people ;)

Good evening Erasmus Mentors and mentorees:

Today's trip was quite an interesting activity to discover the center of Europe where we could see LOTS of sculptures in the heart of nature .

Thank you Donata for the nice initiative ;)

PS: If anybody is planning to go , dont forget your sandwich and snacks because the restaurant there is expensive .

Thanks for coming and having some fun! :)
Maybe this picnic didn't get as well as expected but it was great walking those kilometers with interesting and cheerful company. I won't forget our ritual dance in the house with moving floor :D
However, if we have any other picnics I think we'll organize it somewhere in Vilnius :D

Best wishes,
