So excelon will definitely be at QAOrTheHighWay (QaOrTheHighway.com) in Columbus, Ohio, February 17th. Excelon might be sponsoring and I have an accepted talk.
We are also planning a one-day peer conference the day before, February 16th, on Teaching Test Design. My plan is a morning of presentations followed by working groups in the afternoon. The goal will be to beta-test, if not create, entirely new sets of test exercises, some of which to be published or given away to the test community.
I expect to sign the contract and be able to announce Friday. In the mean time, if you are interested, you might want to keep those dates open, and consider the recommended hotel - the block of rooms requirements for me to rent the space are ... high ... and if they don't sell, I have to purchase them anyway. That hotel will be 0.6 miles from QaOrTheHighway and peer workshop will be in the same building.
