We just wrapped up TestRetreatNYC, a day of in-person intense conversations, grounded in solving real testing problem.
It's too bad we can't do this all the time.
Wait a minute.
Who says we can't do this all the time?
After three years of running TestRetreats and many more of various peer conferences, I've hooked the various online tools we use to organize the events together to create a sort of virtual peer conference, on the web, all the time. It's called Software Delivery 24/7, and it costs five dollars a month. That's about as much as two drinks at Starbucks, or, on an annual basis, slightly less than a one-day peer conference.
This service is made for the folks on the list, and I honestly, it will starve without members. I am hoping some of you all will trust me enough to be the start of the revolution.
If not, if you are critical, that is okay too. Talk to me goose. I want to make a service worth buying. Like anything else I work on, I strive to bring a lot of the value to any collaborative 'thing.' Talk to Markus, talk to Anna, or Justin, Pete or any other person I work with. Then, I hope, you'll consider signing up.
Also - I'd like to talk about an in-person test event soon, probably Jan/Feb 2015? Maybe Middle USA or NYC again? Possibly West Coast?
Let's keep talking.
regards,
