Meeting starts @ 6.25 pm

6.25 pm: Presentation by Gaurav:

  • Key Takeaways:
    • Presence is most important
    • Participation - Take active roles, Volunteer
    • Follow up on referrals - helps build credibility
    • Quality of referrals passed and the way they are passed and connected
    • Attending trainings - not just for success at BNI but in also your own business
    • Also, testimonials is a good way to acknowledge fellow members and also go up in traffic lights

That was useful as well as interesting.

  • Beer came @ 6.33 pm - Energy pumped up especially for Manu with his fresh lime soda (mix)
  • Everybody shared their own take-aways from their experience. Crux of the matter is that it is not the numbering at traffic lights but doing the basics and building credibility

6.37 pm: Success story by Gagan

    • Shared a great story from a chapter in Mumbai
    • Many more stories shared by Gagan
    • Huge achievements by some members of power teams together

6.42 pm: Saurabh wanted to place a strategy in place so that even members (who do not have requirements of corporate clients like Aditi / Kamaljeet), also benefit from this power team. Gagan suggested creating some sub-groups within the power team which can work with better synergies. Kabeer also shared his opinion on this, Very critical point by Kabeer was to look at unconventional methods of marketing. Aditi shared that even corporates can be a good connect for her as this is a value add for the employees as they can themselves do higher level courses or for their kids.

6.47pm: Gagan explained the concept of referral partners. Very interesting. Everyone should have atlas 4-5 referral partners. Prioritise your 1-2-1s with them. Give them referrals. Keep your eyes and ears open during the “I Have” section in the meeting.

6.50 pm: Everyone shares Every member shares atleast one client as give for the chapter. All interested to connect with any give of a member must approach the Giver. The onus lies on him and not on the Giver.

Hello All,

Further to our proposed meeting tomorrow, I have now added all the people to the marketing email group as I noticed that some people were not added. Only Sandeep Ahluwalia is left as his mentioned email ID seems to be invalid. Will add him.
