Obfuscating/Protecting app.config file

Hello,

I have an ExcelDNA add-in project which has a app.config file that contains few connection details which I would like to protect or keep secret.

In my C# project I call these app.config file values to make various webservice calls.

1 ) Is there a way to protect my app.config file from being compromised via an unpack tool ?

2) Does .NET Reactor obfuscate all files under a solution including the app.config file ?

3) Do we have a recommended way of storing connection details in an add-in project ?
