Hi,

it seems lately I'm getting more and more issues when a launch a book that has an .xll attached. "This addin is incompatible with Data Execution Prevention Mode . . ."

Not a massive deal, I close and relaunch or reselect. My environment is Windows 10/Excel 2016 32bit/DNA339.

Anyone else with this prob? Thanks.

Something like this. Most of the addins are DNA items.

So these are not add-ins that you are somehow extracting from a sheet at runtime, or something like that? I didn't understand what you mean with them being associated with a sheet.

Do you have some deterministic instructions for reproducing this, or does it appear randomly?
Excel-DNA with the packing option does extract assemblies into memory, and then load then for execution, so that might trigger DEP somehow. But Iv'e never heard of this issue being reported, or seen it myself.
